The Hatch

Back in March (where has the time gone) we asked our customers to take part in an online survey to help plan the future of Latimers.

Looking through their feedback, we were blown away by the lovely, positive responses – thank you. Even throughout a tricky year, your support has been fin’tastic and has not gone unnoticed!

However, we did receive some negative feedback, most of which was surrounding our cafe. We were aware with the lack of space, the cafe did become overcrowded at times which did result in increased wait times. Along with this, the cafe did not have enough space to be COVID safe for both staff and customers whilst also remaining viable.

From this, Robert and I got our thinking caps on and came up with The Hatch, serving delicious ready to go options from a hatch! We are offering lovely seafood picnic boxes, breakfasts, afternoon teas and sandwiches as well as coffees, cakes, homemade lemonade and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The Hatch came with the thought that folk can enjoy our perfectly packaged, ready to go options on our beautiful beach, Cornthwaite park over the road or along the cliffs towards Souter.
