Swordfish with Lemon, Garlic, and Olive Oil Marinade

Serves 6



6 Swordfish fillets


Marinade ingredients:

4 Lemons, zested and juiced

1 Tsp of dried Greek oregano

2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped

60 ml of Olive oil



  1. Combine the juice and zest of the lemons with the oregano, garlic cloves, and olive oil in a large bowl
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup for basting the Swordfish during cooking
  3. Add the Swordfish to the remaining marinade, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before barbecuing
  4. Heat the BBQ to medium heat and put the Swordfish on
  5. Once the flames have died down, cook for 3-4 minutes on each side
  6. Make sure the Swordfish is hot in the middle before serving
  7. Serve with lemon wedges (or anything you want!)
