Soften garlic, chilli and fennel seeds and some chopped cherry tomatoes in a little olive oil.
Stir in the crab with half a glass of white wine (what happens to the other half…?)
Reduce the sauce slightly and then stir in the cooked pasta – serve
Mrs B served the pasta in the empty crab shell. and said that it looked lovely but the shell was a bit small so she had to have a refill!
Had to learn a new skill – preparing a crab. Paid a visit to our fantastic local fishmonger Latimers and was shown how to prepare a crab by the fishmongers. It was a bit fiddly but it was easier than I thought it would be. Will definitely be a recipe I’d repeat.

Thanks for recipe – you could always buy the crab ready dressed and back in its shell from us – save you the fiddling!
